On the evening before we'd like to offer a get-together where we can have dinner together. Starting at 18 o'clock, you can find people gathering at the hotel bar. Later we visit a restaurant for dinner. Details to be announced.
This event is organized by Christian Schmitz of Monkeybread Software. People from Real Software and Application Systems Heidelberg will be available onsite for questions.

You have companion on your trip?
For just 59 Euro per person, your companions can join us for the meals in the hotel. Perfect for wife, children or other persons who want to join, but are not interested in Real Studio development.
The 4 star Hotel Amadeus Frankfurt at the Hessencenter is a modern business and conference hotel that welcomes you with unique ambiance and modern facilities.
This hotel offers free parking, free wireless LAN for the event rooms, free non alcoholic drinks and lunch as 3-course-menu or buffet or the day for our event.

PS: This is the same location as for Real World 2008 in Germany.
If you fly, target the airport Frankfurt/Main (FRA).
From the airport you can easily get to the hotel by local trains. See below.
If several people arrive the same time on the airport, it may be worth to arrange a shuttle service.
PS: Please avoid the Frankfurt am Main Airport Hahn (HHN), as this one is more than 100 km away!
Frankfurt has two big train stations. The main station in the city center and the airport station outside the city. Most trains just stop at one of them, but not on both. For example direct ICE from Paris arrives in main station. Trains from Colonge usually go to the airport.
From the main station, go downstairs and take subway U4 to Hessen-Center (direction is to Enkheim). Subway goes every 15 minutes and Hessen-Center should be the 11th stop.
From the airport, go downstairs to the regio train station. Take one of the trains S8 or S9. 6th station should be Konstablerwache where you switch to subway U7 or U4 (direction is to Enkheim). Subway goes every 15 minutes and get off at Hessen-Center station.
Leave the station by crossing the street. You see the Mediamarkt and mömax in front of you (Hessen-Center is on other side of street). Go the street on the right side along this center (Röntgenstraße). Behind the center, you'll see the hotel.
Ask your GPS for directions to Röntgenstr. 5, 60388 Frankfurt am Main.
From east, you simply follow A66 towards Frankfurt. The autobahn ends in the city and you turn right. The Mediamarkt and mömax shops are on the left. The hotel is behind those, so turn left on the next possibility.
The hotel, the mediamarkt and the Hessen-Center have both parking space.
