OCR

The MBS Plugin provides OCR using the open source tesseract engine.

Please use newer TessEngineMBS class with tesseract 4 to 5.1 libraries.

You can install/receive libraries:

• Download source code from github and compile it yourself.
• For macOS use homebrew:
  brew install tesseract
  brew install tesseract-lang
• For Windows get installer here: github.com/UB-Mannheim/tesseract
• For linux install with package manager.

You may also fine some files on our libraries download page.
